Today was another full day. I started school this morning, and I'm ready to dive into it again tomorrow. Mom & Dad went to the CBM team meeting this morning at the CBM office -- and Dad drove home from it, as Bruno was heading to the airport. After lunch we went as a family to the Genocide Memorial and spent over 3 hours there. It has a museum part that you walk through, looking at displays and listening to a "tour guide" explanation type thing which has three sections: 1 - the time leading up to and after the Rwandan genocide, 2 - a section about other genocides that have happened around the world, 3 - a section about some of the children who were slaughtered during the Rwandan genocide. Then there are gardens all around the museum that represent different things, and have different types of trees and flowers planted in them. Lastly, there is a mass grave where 250,000 people are buried (which is about a quarter of the people who were massacred) and a Wall of Names.
