Today is Caleb's 14th birthday! His original birthday plans had to get shuffled around because of his sickness and our lack of a car! However, he was still able to have 2 friends over for Saturday afternoon/evening and we did our family celebration today.
M & W came over at 3 and we spent the first few hours playing a nail-biting (for some) game of Risk.
After the game was done, we walked up to a pizza place (remember, no car) and had a delicious supper!
And then we had an even more deliciouser dessert (it's worth some improper English!)...
Sundaes and home-made brownies!
After that we finished off the evening with Caleb opening his gifts & playing some Mario Kart on the Wii.
What do you expect with teenage boys?!?
Because of his head cold, C ended up staying home from church today, but this afternoon he opened his family gifts and we had his requested dinner--home-made macaroni and cheese. And we had round 2 of the brownies & ice cream from yesterday!
You did end up having a very eventful week. Trust your time in Nirobi is relaxing and enjoyable.
